RETURN TO PLAY PROTOCOLS

(For players and coaches)

Self- Evaluation

As above must conduct Symptom Assessments. Anyone that is experiencing symptoms, a temperature of 100 or above or have come into contact with someone who is sick must not be present at the field. If this applies to a coach please contact us at the office as soon as possible so we can make arrangements for someone else to coach the team.

Playing area

We are only using 3 flag football fields on the main football field, one field at each endzone and one field in the middle giving each sideline at least 15 yards space in between. Players and coaches are not permitted to enter the playing area until the teams that played before them have exited the playing area. Once each teams game has concluded the teams must exit the area promptly on the opposite side of the field to where they entered this will clearly be marked at the stadium.

Games

Our officials and staff will wear face coverings before each game, during the coin toss, half time and at the conclusion of the game. The officials will not touch the ball, it is the responsibility of each team to retrieve their own ball after each play and for the center to spot the ball, the official will mark the spot of the ball. Only one captain from each team will meet at center field for the coin toss. At the conclusion of the game, there will unfortunately be no hand shake line.

Face coverings/gloves/mouth guards

Face coverings are required, before and after the game, although we recommend football gloves they are not mandatory. Mouth guards for this season are also recommended but not mandatory.
